		<description>He does the same sort of thing in Slaughterhouse-5, with the occasional&lt;br&gt;drawing, and the first chapter of this is very metafictional, as well as&lt;br&gt;mentions of himself as the author in the narrative. This is also very&lt;br&gt;cathartic in that it&#039;s very directly informed by the author&#039;s experiences of&lt;br&gt;the firebombing of Dresden.&lt;br&gt;Definite swapsies. I could do with reading a lot more Russell.</description>

		<description>I&#039;ve just finished reading Breakfast of Champions which, for saying it seemed to be about little else than his own catharsis, was really good. The writing / typographical styles and little drawings could have come across as really strained and forced quirkiness, but they didn&#039;t. It even survived becoming &#039;metafiction&#039; at the end and I still have positive feelings towards it, which is quite an achievement...&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;I&#039;ve got Russell&#039;s &quot;In Praise of Idleness&quot; too... swapsies?&lt;/BR&gt;&lt;/BR&gt;</description>
