However if you did like Sandman you'd enjoy the film <i>Franklyn</i> which I saw just after New Year this year and was intriguing and dark and also rather good fun, and I definitely enjoyed that. And it surprised me by actually having a reasonably happy ending...! It didn't really feel as if it would.
